So Here It Is...

So here it is, Merry Christmas, everybody's having fun. Or are they?
It's obvious that Christmas, amidst all the mindless materialism and wanton celebration, can be a difficult time for many of us. Imparticular those who experience mental ill health.
So, I'd just like to say in this very short blog a very Merry Christmas to all at Mindbloggling, particularly those who have taken the time to read and comment on my blog.
I know that for many of us, including myself, social isolation can be a big problem, but it is always nice to know that there are some of us out there who can share our experiences and communicate in this way. I truly believe that this can make our lives a little bit more enjoyable and I have certainly enjoyed being a part of mindbloggling.
So, for at least this year, that may be all from your average delusional and paranoid man. Oh, please don't be too sad, after all there's always next year and who knows what that might bring. Or, as my old aunt used to say, something will turn up, even if its your toes (old potteries saying!).
So. stay well and a very Merry Christmas to all!

Greetings David
Social isolation can be enhanced for those who find themselves alone during this 'Festive Season'.
Although I have the opportunity, thanks to my own nervous attempt at social networking, to socialise for this first time in years; I will be spending the day with my son. This will be the first time he has been with me on that 'special day' for longer than I care to remember.
David I do wish you a wonderful Christmas and know that through our site's community empathy, we can give each other a bit of comfort.
Warmest of wishes Klahanie aka Gary.

Dear David,

I sincerely hope that you managed to have the best 'Xmas' possible, for you! and not the 'Xmas' that society in general seems to think we 'should' all have!(full of unrealistic expectations...which are not really what we wanted anyway)
I wish you the 'Happiest' of New Years, full of peace, joy and love.
My very best and warmest wishes to you David.....D Xx
Dave

Looking forward to seeing you this brand-spanking, bright new year. It's like a blank canvas with who knows what round the corner. Hope you've had a good Christmas and if not, that you've come out of it all right on the other side..

See you soon,

S
